Filling
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries Opt for ripe and fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Used to toss with raspberries
Crumble Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats Use rolled oats for best texture
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the raspberries with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and toss them gently.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla until you achieve a crumbly texture.
Assembly
  1. Spread half of the crumble mixture into a baking dish.
  2. Layer it with the raspberries, followed by topping it off with the remaining crumble.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.
