Ingredients

  • 2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked shredded turkey
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp poppy or sesame seeds (for topping)

Equipment

  • large baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • spoon or spatula
  • basting brush
  • knife

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange crescent dough triangles in a circle on the baking sheet with wide ends overlapping in the center and tips pointing outward to form a ring.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in turkey, cranberry sauce, Swiss cheese, green onions, and rosemary until well combined.
  4. Spoon the filling along the wide base of the dough ring, keeping the center clear.
  5. Fold pointed ends over the filling and tuck underneath the inner edge to form a wreath shape.
  6. Brush the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Keep dough cold before shaping. For variation, try goat cheese, cherry preserves, or puff pastry. Don't skip the egg wash—it gives a golden, glossy finish. Let the ring rest 10 minutes before slicing to help set the filling.
