  • 1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs (about 30–35 meatballs) Feel free to use homemade meatballs if preferred.
  • 2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch For thickening the gravy.
  • 2 tablespoons cold water To mix with cornstarch for slurry.
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish Optional.

Preparation
  1. Spray the insert of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker—no thawing required!
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and gently stir until they are coated.
  5. Cover and set your slow cooker to LOW for 5–6 hours.
  6. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, mix cornstarch and cold water together to create a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker.
Serving
  1. Serve the meatballs over creamy mashed potatoes or egg noodles, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a bolder flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or garlic to the sauce. You can use turkey or chicken meatballs instead of beef to lighten the dish. A splash of red wine or balsamic vinegar can enhance the sauce's flavor.
