Cooking
- Warm a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and drizzle in some cooking oil.
- Divide the ground beef into balls, each weighing around 2 oz.
- Once the skillet is heated, transfer the beef balls to the pan and allow them to cook for 30 seconds.
- Using a spatula, press down on each beef ball to form thin patties, then season with salt and pepper.
- Allow the patties to cook for 2-3 minutes until nicely browned on one side.
- Flip each patty and sprinkle cheese on top, letting it melt as it cooks.
- Warm your tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until flexible.
- Assemble by placing a smashed burger onto each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
