Preparation
  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle on medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into equal-sized portions, about 4-6 ounces each.
  3. Shape each portion into a ball and set aside.
  4. Pre-slice any toppings and lay out your buns.
Cooking
  1. Place each beef ball on the hot griddle and use a spatula to smash them flat.
  2. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook until browned and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Flip the burgers and add cheese if desired, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until melted.
