Ingredients
  

For the Burgers
  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20 mix) Quality ground beef for juiciness.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 4 slices Cheese (American or cheddar) Choose American for melting or cheddar for flavor.
  • 4 pieces Burger buns Freshly toasted buns enhance flavor.
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Pickles (chopped) For added tang.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup Onions (sliced) Optional for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Shape the ground beef into loose balls and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat your skillet or griddle over high heat.
Cooking
  1. Once hot, place the beef balls in the skillet and smash them down into flat patties.
  2. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes until crispy and browned, then flip them over.
  3. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.
  4. Toast the burger buns until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and chopped pickles to create the sauce.
  2. Assemble each burger with a patty on the bottom bun, drizzle with sauce, and add onions if desired.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!
