  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese Feel free to customize your cheese choice
Seasonings
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste garlic powder

  • diced onions Optional for serving
  • burger sauce Optional for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Press a handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking
  1. Cook the beef side down for about 2-3 minutes, until it’s beautifully browned.
  2. Flip the tortilla over, sprinkle with cheese, and fold it in half.
  3. Grill both sides for another 2-3 minutes, until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
  4. Slice into wedges, and serve with toppings like burger sauce, pickles, and diced onions.

Notes
