Spicy Salmon Bowl

Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch Ginger (grated)
For the Slaw
  • 2 cups Shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped green onions
For the Spicy Mayo
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust to taste
For Serving
  • 4 cups Cooked rice Use warm
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush generously with the marinade.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. While the salmon is baking, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onions in a large bowl to create your slaw.
  3. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise with sriracha to form your spicy mayo. Adjust sriracha to suit your heat preference.
Assembly
  1. Once the salmon is ready, serve it over a bed of warm cooked rice, topped with the colorful slaw.
  2. Drizzle with spicy mayo and sprinkle sesame seeds for garnish.

Notes
