  • 1 packet taco seasoning Feel free to use homemade seasoning.
  • 4 cups beef broth or water Broth gives richer flavor.
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper Use any color bell pepper.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground meat over medium heat.
  2. Add in the diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they’re softened.
  3. Stir in the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and beef broth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with your choice of shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and crunchy tortilla chips.
