Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger sliced
  • ½ tablespoon fresh turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon ground
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • cup pineapple
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Lemon Verbena tea bag with the tag cut off
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar optional
  • Lemon slice optional
  • Honey optional

Method
 

  1. 1. To a medium pot, add the ginger, turmeric, mint, pineapple, water, and tea bag.
  2. 2. Bring to a simmer on low heat, then remove from the heat and cover.
  3. 3. Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Strain into a mug, add in any optional ingredients.
  5. 5. Serve hot. Or chill in the fridge and serve over ice.
