Ingredients
  

For the liquid base:
  • 1 cup cold water or unsweetened coconut water
For the flavor and benefits:
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Half a teaspoon freshly grated ginger
For added texture and wellness boost:
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds soaked in water for 5 minutes
  • A dash of ground cinnamon
Optional:
  • One drop of stevia or monk fruit sweetener

Method
 

  1. 1. In a glass or small bowl, mix the chia seeds with a little cold water. Let them sit for five to ten minutes.
  2. 2. In a large glass or mason jar, pour one cup of cold water or coconut water. Add the juice from half a lemon and one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Stir well to combine.
  3. 3. Grate fresh ginger and measure out half a teaspoon. Add it to the mixture. Then sprinkle in a dash of ground cinnamon.
  4. 4. Add the soaked chia seeds into the drink. If desired, add one drop of stevia or monk fruit. Stir or shake until blended.
  5. 5. Drink immediately or chill for up to one hour. Use a straw to protect your teeth from acidity.

Notes
