Ingredients
  

For the Turkey Patties
  • 1 pound ground turkey Use fresh ground turkey for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs Use gluten-free bread crumbs for dietary restrictions.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute feta or goat cheese for a different flavor.
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices cheese Optional, can use any type of cheese.
  • condiments (optional) Choose your favorite for variety.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until fully incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties of desired size.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat, making sure it is well-oiled to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook the patties on the grill for approximately 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reads 165°F (75°C).
Assembly
  1. Assemble your burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and any preferred condiments.

Notes
