Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 12 pieces Oreo cookies Gluten-free Oreos can be used.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 12 pieces lollipop sticks
  • to taste Valentine's Day sprinkles
  • to taste red or pink candy melts For drizzling, optional.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by carefully twisting the Oreo cookies apart, making sure the cream stays on one side of the cookie.
  2. Insert a lollipop stick into the cream side of each Oreo. You can add a little melted chocolate to help secure the stick if desired.
  3. Place the other half of the cookie back on top, and gently press down to seal.
  4. Freeze the assembled Oreo pops for about 5 minutes to make the dipping process easier.
Dipping
  1. While they freeze, melt the white chocolate and milk or dark chocolate separately following the package directions.
  2. Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
  3. Transfer the dipped pops to a parchment-lined tray. Decorate immediately with sprinkles or drizzle melted red or pink candy melts over the top.
  4. Allow the pops to set completely at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator for quicker results.
Serving
  1. Enjoy serving them wrapped in cellophane as thoughtful gifts or beautifully arranged on a platter for your Valentine celebration.
