Preparation
- Begin by carefully twisting the Oreo cookies apart, making sure the cream stays on one side of the cookie.
- Insert a lollipop stick into the cream side of each Oreo. You can add a little melted chocolate to help secure the stick if desired.
- Place the other half of the cookie back on top, and gently press down to seal.
- Freeze the assembled Oreo pops for about 5 minutes to make the dipping process easier.
Dipping
- While they freeze, melt the white chocolate and milk or dark chocolate separately following the package directions.
- Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
- Transfer the dipped pops to a parchment-lined tray. Decorate immediately with sprinkles or drizzle melted red or pink candy melts over the top.
- Allow the pops to set completely at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator for quicker results.
Serving
- Enjoy serving them wrapped in cellophane as thoughtful gifts or beautifully arranged on a platter for your Valentine celebration.
