Method
Cooking the filling
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if your plant-based ground needs it.
- Cook the plant-based ground according to the package instructions, breaking it up with a spatula until browned.
- Season to taste with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Reduce heat to low, spread the cooked mixture in an even layer, and top with dairy-free cheese. Cover the pan for 1–2 minutes to help the cheese melt.
Assembling the wraps
- Lay out your whole wheat wraps and arrange lettuce, tomato slices, onion, and pickles on each.
- Spoon the cheesy plant-based mixture down the center of each wrap.
- Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the filling, then fold and roll the wraps tightly. Cut in half if desired and serve right away.

To keep wraps from getting soggy, store leftover filling separate from fresh toppings. Reheat gently and assemble just before serving.
