- 4. Set a fine mesh strainer over a pitcher or large jar. Pour the blended lemonade base through it. Use a spoon to gently press on the pulp to extract all the liquid. Discard the pulp for a perfectly smooth drink.

- 6. In a separate small bowl or glass, add the matcha powder. Pour in the hot water and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or an electric frother until it's completely dissolved and a smooth, frothy layer forms on top.

- 8. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the strained watermelon lemonade base into the glass until it is about halfway full. Now, very slowly pour the prepared matcha over the back of a spoon, allowing it to gently cascade onto the lemonade base to create a distinct layer.
