Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Fudge Stripe Shortbread Cookies (Keebler or similar)
  • 1 bag Hershey Kisses, unwrapped
  • 1 cup orange frosting (store-bought or homemade buttercream)
  • Halloween sprinkles (optional)

Equipment

  • tray for cookie assembly
  • piping bag or knife for spreading frosting
  • airtight container for storage

Method
 

  1. Lay Fudge Stripe cookies striped side facing up on a tray.
  2. Pipe or spread a small dab of orange frosting on the flat base of each Hershey Kiss.
  3. Press the Kiss gently into the center of the cookie to form the hat point.
  4. Add Halloween sprinkles around the frosting if desired.
  5. Let the cookies rest for 10 to 15 minutes so the frosting sets before serving.
