Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese, quartered
  • 8 slices pepperoni or deli meat (salami, ham, or turkey)
  • olive slices or black food coloring (optional, for decoration)

Equipment

  • baking sheet

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Cut cheese slices into quarters. Place one quarter slice of cheese and one slice of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip to form crescents.
  5. Bend the wide end slightly to form a hat brim and lift the tip upward into a hat shape.
  6. Place shaped rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Optional: Decorate with olive slice buckles or draw details using food coloring.

Notes

For variety, fill with veggies, different cheeses, or deli meats like ham or turkey. Chill shaped dough before baking to help it hold form. Add olive slices for decoration or use black food coloring for hat details. Serve warm with marinara or ranch dip in mini cauldrons for a magical touch.
